The element of surprise is one of the most exciting parts of getting engaged and one of the most confusing…how are you supposed to know your loved one’s ring finger size?
Most of us barely know what size clothing our partner wears, let alone his or her finger size! EE Robbins is here to help.
While the most accurate measurement can be obtained by having the wearer’s finger sized by a professional, we at E.E. Robbins understand that may not always be possible.
Therefore we are providing you with our printable “Ring Sizer” to help you determine his or hers approximate finger size.
Therefore we are providing you with our printable “Ring Sizer” to help you determine his or hers approximate finger size.
Before you use our ring sizer, here are a few tips to remember:
1. One’s fingers fluctuate with the weather, the time of day, the time of year and the ring wearer’s physical state at the time.
2. If you are going to use one of your intended’s rings make sure it is from the correct finger. The right hand and left hand fingers are rarely the same size. The engagement and wedding rings are traditionally worn on the finger closest to the pinky finger on the left hand.
3. If it is a
sizable ring (your EE Robbins expert can confirm this), err on the larger side so that it is sure to go on the finger and can be sized down at a later date.
4. Do not attempt this for a ring that cannot be sized, like a tension setting or an eternity band with diamonds all the way around. The proper size for these types of rings must be determined by an EE Robbins professional.
5. European sizes are in millimeters, so if you have been given a millimeter size you can refer to our chart for the American equivalent
